After signing on at reception, it’s over to the kit room for helmets, goggles and gloves and straight out to the Powerturn Circuit. The circuit is in the shape of a large kidney bean. One machine facing south - one facing north.

After a safety brief practice it is on to a session which becomes hilarious as everyone donuts and pirouettes round the track. It is down to some serious racing now. Held as cat and mouse racing, the idea is to catch the other vehicles up for the win. The winning pair stay on so it is up to the others to knock them out.

We can use twin seater or single seater powerturns depending if it is being run as a team or individual event. The pair with the most wins are on the podium with the bubbly.
