How Fastrax Motorsport Got Started

Fastrax Motorsport started out in 1991 and since then has built up a reputable business as being one of the biggest and the best motorsport event companies in Scotland. Fastrax has identified the need to introduce children’s motorsport activities as over the years we have received numerous enquiries from parents asking if we can provide kiddies go-karts and quad bikes so let me introduce you to the ultimate party experience - Fastrax Kids!

Safety

At the start of any session all drivers will receive a full safety briefing and equipment demonstration. After making sure each child understands the safety rules, they will start their driving experience. Each event is fully supervised and the children are given a safety briefing and driving instruction at the start of the session. Fastrax staff only let them drive when they’re confident they can drive the kart safely. Safety rules are displayed during the session. The karts/quads have a speed restrictor so we can adjust the speed according to the child’s age and ability (children must be strictly 8 years and over).

Fastrax Staff

All Fastrax staff members are given thorough instruction in handling and maintenance of the equipment. They are given a checklist of safety procedures based on our risk assessment. There are normally two experienced operators at each event.

We have undertaken a full Health and Safety assessment of all our equipment and venues.

What Fastrax Provides

- Disclosure Scotland fully trained staff
- Supervised motorsport experience / full briefing on driving rules and safety
- Waterproof clothing, helmet and gloves
- 8-12 years Medals and Certificates / 13-16 years 1st, 2nd and 3rd medals

Catering

 

- Snacks at Fastrax – Hot drinks are available for adults and juice/snacks for the children. You are free to bring along snack boxes / food for your party within your time slot - we can provide picnic benches or tressle tables and chairs.

- Lunch – If you would like to take the children for lunch we can recommend a few good eating establishments.

- What day you wish to book?
- The number of children that will be taking part
- Once your preferences are established, we will then check this against availability. You will need to pay a deposit to secure the booking.
